About Min. Peterson

Minister Kiesha L. Peterson was born in Newark, New Jersey to parents Gloria Peterson (Culver) and Earl Williams, and was raised in Newark and Vauxhall. She is the proud mother of  three, E. Isaiah Davis (daughter-in-law, Cherelle A.), Ahja D. Smith and Toby S. Peterson and an even prouder grandmother of five.

Kiesha’s ministry journey began on November 29, 2015, when she gave her initial sermon at her home church for over 40 years, St. Paul’s Calvary United Church of God, under the leadership of Bishop Claude L. Campbell. She is the founder of The Absolute Word Ministries and has served as the Founding Host of the internet radio program, The Gospel Hour Show. Her love for writing emerged at the age of thirteen. Today, she is an Amazon Best-Selling and International Best-Selling Author, contributing as a Co-Author to Stories from The Pink Pulpit: Women in Ministry Speak!, She Shall Rise: Empowerment for Kingdom Women, and The Pieces of My Platform.

 

Kiesha is also a Self-Published Author and Self-Publishing Coach. Her solo work includes: 7 Roadblocks to Success and The 3D Steps to Knock Them Down, Knowing When Enough is Enough: My guide to building your self-esteem, Book of Poems, Vol. 1 and I Am Who God Says I Am, under the pen-name G. C. Peterson. She is currently working on her fifth book Listening To The Silent Child: No longer am I invisible.  Her work has also appeared in Women's Frontline Magazine (November 2017 - cover story and April 2019) and Victorious, Virtuous and Valued Magazine (January/February 2017 issue 19).

In addition to ministry, writing, and coaching, Kiesha is a Motivational and INpowermentTM Speaker and a proud member of  The Soul Restoration Center, The Pink Pulpit, NAACP Tri-City Branch (Silver Life), National Council of Negro Women, and Women’s Speaker Association and Church of The New Covenant.

 

Kiesha served as Administrative Assistant to former Assemblyman William D. Payne, 29th Legislative District. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Everest University (Tampa).
